Alberta’s pork industry is built on a foundation of continuous improvement. From adopting smart technologies to supporting cutting-edge research, producers are constantly evolving to raise healthy pigs and deliver safe, sustainable food.

Alberta Pork supports this drive for progress by:

• facilitating research in the pork industry to enhance animal nutrition, welfare, and farm management
• advocating on behalf of pork producers by communicating key areas of concern to government representatives
• working with producers to access financial assistance through SCAP grant opportunities
• supplying up to date economic information on the costs of production
• publishing the Canadian Hog Journal, Canada’s top producer-focused swine industry magazine
