PigLearn Training program

PigLEARN Online Training

On March 19, 2025 the Canadian Pork Council, with the support of Alberta Pork and the other provincial pork organizations, launched PigLEARN, an online training platform for Canadian pork producers.

PigLEARN offers:

  • 86+ training modules in swine sector-specific best management practices
  • A platform to onboard new workers or refresh the knowledge of experienced workers
  • Tracking and reporting on workers’ training progress
  • Language options in English, French, Spanish, Tagalog (Filipino), and Ukrainian
  • The ability for companies to manage their own workers and upload their own training

Full access to the platform, including the full catalog of 86+ training modules, starts at $75 per person for a 24-month subscription (for a limited time only). A 12-month subscription is also available for $50 per person.

This platform is offered at-cost while ensuring new content can be developed every year and the service is well-maintained.
