On-Farm Efficiency Program

On-Farm Efficiency Program

The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) has launched a new On-Farm Efficiency Program for producers. This program combines the key funding opportunities previously seen under the Farm Technology Program and Efficient Grain Handling Program with the additional inclusion of Energy Efficiency.

The On-Farm Efficiency Program offers a maximum of $150,000 over four streams of funding:

  • Smart Farm Technology: maximum of $50,000
  • Energy Efficiency: maximum of $50,000
  • Farm Security: maximum of $2,000
  • Efficient Grain Handling: $100,000

Funding under this program is cost shared at 50% and purchases made retroactive to April 1, 2023.

All producers with quotes into Alberta Pork will be contacted directly.
