Canadian Swine Exporters Pleased by Rate Extension
Ottawa, Ont. [September 29, 2011] The Canadian pork industry is pleased to learn that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) fees for endorsing export certificates will remain at the same level for another two years.  The extension of the cap on user fees charged to Canada producers exporting live feeder swine to the United States will allow CFIA and the industry to continue its efforts to modernize the user fee structure.
